This is the ultimate choice in Ultralight backpacking shelters, and in my opinion far superion to a tent. It won the 2015 editor’s choice for shelters in Outdoorgearlab. This thing is bomb proof and a cinch to pitch super taut. I’ve used this tarp a handful of time and it was babied. It’s like new. Google some videos and read the reviews. You cannot go wrong with this tarp. 8’6″ x 8’6″. I’ve also got a TiGoat bugnet bivy which I highly recommend if you’re backpacking in an area with lots of critters.
