NEW Ecotat Freedom Shelter – it’s a tent, poncho, littler, tarp, and bivvy, etc. It sat in an ALSE survival kit in the back of a UH-60 for years. I got it when we upgraded the survival kits and added newer emergency shelters. To my knowledge, it has never been set up on the ground, nor slept in. I have set it up a couple times in the house, on carpet, but it should really be staked to the ground (according to the set-up instructions) to erect it properly. Some of the seam sealing looks ok, the rest looks a little rough. That said, it’s an emergency shelter, and will probably work just fine as-is. See photos to get an idea of the “ok” and “rough” areas. It comes with all the original equipment as shown in the photos. It is made in the USA. See the following websites for more info.
