I got this from a friend. I don’t believe it has ever been used–or it it has the use has been minimal. This inner tent is pretty unique. In place of mesh it has breathable ripstop nylon making it the perfect inner tent for winter or windy conditions. It fits perfectly under my MLD Duomid and measures 52×92. Weight is 27 ounces with stuff sack. Floor is made of a durable denier nylon (believe it is 30D). Here is the description from the Bear Paw Designs site. The Pyranet 2 fits under our Luna 2, 4 and 6 and other pyramid-shaped tents like the Shangri La 5 by Golite and MLD’s Duomid, Supermid and Mondomid. We have custom modifications for our PyraTent and HMG’s Ultramid 2® and also Z-Packs’s Hexamid Twin®. You can also get the regular length (standard) pyranet 2 in extended versions, which is 6 longer than the regular length standard pyranet 2. For the standard Pyranet 2 and the Hex Twin, the standard door location is on the long side. For the Pyratent and Ultramid 2 modifications, then the standard door location is on the short side of the pyranet 2. You can specify other door locations. We can also make the standard pyranet 2 taller and wider just. The center single pole can be installed through water-sealed opening in bathtub floor and through the peak (closed tight) and extended to the tarp above. Or the pole can be fixed inside the peak of the net tent. Or you can hang the Pyranet 2 using its peak line loc 3. It has a 2.5 high bathtub made from either 30d silnylon (standard), 70d silnylon. 74 oz Dyneema® or 1.25 oz Dyneema®. For extreme weather conditions, it can be modified with silnylon or Dyneema® up the sides. The addition of the optional side extensions gives the net about a 10 bathtub floor, but it can be made with higher or lower extensions. It can also be constructed of ripstop nylon for full wind protection with mesh vent at peak. The bathtub floor uses line loc 3 on the upper portion of the floor and webbing on the lower to form a floating floor. Double zipper slider opens from full right or from full left for complete opening, or custom arrangement. You can change one of the standard zippers to an inverted T zipper for an additional charge. Just select custom zipper and select inverted T zipper under modifications dropdown menu. Cordage and stuff sack are included.
