Solution-dyed means that the fibers the fabric is made from are dyed before being woven which results in a more long-lasting, fade and stain resistant color. The 2000-hour color fastness means that this fabric will not fade as quickly as others. The pole and ribs are made from rust-resistant, powder-coated aluminum while the fittings are stainless steel. Solar-operated LED light bars are located along each of the umbrella’s 8 ribs. When fully charged, the solar lights will run up to 4 hours. To turn on simply use the buttons located on the umbrella pole. There are 3 different light selections: choose any section to light up, a combination of 2, or have all on at once. The solar panel is located on top of the umbrella to charge via direct sunlight during daylight hours. The umbrella’s 1.5 diameter pole means that it can fit most standard size bases. To use the auto-tilting option simply open the umbrella all the way and keep cranking it until the desired tilt angle is reached.
