Sets up with just one trekking pole or walking stick adjusted to around 48 inches (122 cm), and a minimum of six stakes. Eight stakes are recommended. A Tent pole is availablehereif you don’t use trekking poles. The tarp is a loose fit in an included 2.5″ x 4″ x 5.5 tall (6.5 cm x 10 cm x 14 cm) mini stuff sack. Ultralight Lineloc V adjusters are sewn to all the tie outs. 1.2 mm bright yellow Z-line cord is cut and attached for you. Linelocs, cord, and the stuff sack are included in the weight. Either of the storm doors can be opened or closed independently. Leave both open on nice weather nights for a breeze and great views. Close the upwind door to block cold wind, or close both for 360 rain protection. The overlapping doors are closed with a custom made metal hook, with a toggle at the center to keep them pinned. Ample space for one person plus gear. The tarp is long enough for most people to fully stretch out their arms and legs, and tall enough to sit upright. You may need to shift your position to avoid rain spray depending on the wind direction. The inside of each corner has a loop for clipping on your groundsheet. The peak also has a loop on the inside for hanging a flashlight or stuff sack. Alternatively you can use a Poncho, or inexpensive material like Tyvek or Polycryo for your groundsheet. Tie-Out lines with bungee cord. 6 Shepherd hook pegs. Lightweight and durable with minimal stretch, our silicone impregnated ripstop polyester fabric 1.1 oz / yd² (20D) will keep you out of the elements. This durable tarp system with doors is both water and windproof, and resists the retention of water much better than traditional nylon tarps and tents. Reinforced with 210D Polyester, all tie outs are built with grosgrain, and come standard featuring 1/2″ Beastee D-Rings on the 6 perimeter tie outs, 4 door tie outs, 4 panel pull outs, and 3/4″ Beastee D-Rings on the ridgeline tie outs. The four diamond panel pull outs require seam sealing. Many find that seam sealing the ridgeline of the tarp is not necessary, but it is recommended. Has custom clips to close off ends (see pic 6&7) and now has back and silver reflective tie out lines. Has door tie backs also. Comes with “snake skins” (black mesh) as seen in pic 9. Did have a 1/2 long puncture from bridge hammock pole that was repaired with factory repair material, large patch on outside and small on inside as seen in pic 10&11. You have to look very hard to see it when set up. Otherwise this is like new. New this was 372.00 without the ridge line or door closures. Feel free to ask questions. No need to wait 4-6 weeks (or more) for the best Cuben Fiber hammock tarp. Used only a handful of times Hammock Gear Cuben Fiber Tarp w/ Doors. Zing it line for the ridge line. Zing It guy lines on all four corner tie-outs with Linelocs. Doors have Zing It lines only. This has the upgraded door/panel tie outs so that doors can be tied back into them if you need to or use your own trekking poles or extra guy lines (not supplied with tarp) to make more interior room. Comes with 2 piece mesh snakeskins – these have some holes here and there but work perfectly fine for quick storage and deployment of the tarp. First several photos are stock photos from Hammockgear. Com, last sets of photos are actual tarp. No visible holes are tears on the tarp from my inspection holding up to lighting to check for holes or tears. Normal Cuben Fiber crinkle and crumpled look from storage. Basically normal looking tarp that has had very light use – works awesome!
