This is a 2016 Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ultamid 2 in like-new condition. It’s an ultralight (17.6oz) 1- or 2-person pyramid shelter made of waterproof cuben fiber. Its cuben fiber bag. 11 guy lines, all attached to the shelter. Stakes are not included (4 stakes are required to pitch; up to 11 stakes can be used). The center pole (I use an extended hiking pole) is also not included. The shelter is really spacious. In two of the photos, I’ve included my sleeping bag and 60L backpack to provide a sense of how large it is. I bought the Ultamid in June of this year for a week-long backpacking trip in Norway (one of the photos is from the trip). The shelter worked beautifully – it shed 30mph wind and rain without flinching. Well, it was my first time sleeping in an floor-less shelter, and I found that I missed the fully-enclosed feel of a traditional tent. I take great care of all of my backpacking gear, and this shelter is no exception – it’s in like-new condition and shows no signs of wear.
