I got this from a friend. I don’t believe it has ever been used–or it it has the use has been minimal. This inner tent is pretty unique. In place of mesh it has breathable ripstop nylon making it the perfect inner tent for winter or windy conditions. It fits perfectly under my MLD Duomid and measures 52×92. Weight is 27 ounces with stuff sack. Floor is made of a durable denier nylon (believe it is 30D). Here is the description from the Bear Paw Designs site. The Pyranet 2 fits under our Luna 2, 4 and 6 and other pyramid-shaped tents like the Shangri La 5 by Golite and MLD’s Duomid, Supermid and Mondomid. We have custom modifications for our PyraTent and HMG’s Ultramid 2® and also Z-Packs’s Hexamid Twin®. You can also get the regular length (standard) pyranet 2 in extended versions, which is 6 longer than the regular length standard pyranet 2. For the standard Pyranet 2 and the Hex Twin, the standard door location is on the long side. The bathtub floor uses line loc 3 on the upper portion of the floor and webbing on the lower to form a floating floor. Double zipper slider opens from full right or from full left for complete opening, or custom arrangement. You can change one of the standard zippers to an inverted T zipper for an additional charge. Mountain Laurel designs ultralight Solomid XL 0.75 DCF (former cuben fiber) previous16 Version. DCF does not absorb water, so the fabric will not stretch in the middle of the night if raining. Still in excellent condition with 10 nights total. Can take serious storms and even some snow despite being ultralight (Trauma and Pepper used the same design on their winter PCT thru hike into the Cascade and Sierra). Sets up with a hiking pole (not included) in the center after the corners are staked down. Actually gone with a slightly heavier all in 1 design, so this is excess (plus I dont care for green). The Haven Tarp is a shaped tarp that is designed to provide the maximum amount of protection for a minimum weight. It’s dual pole design with 48 (122 cm) wide canopy provides a tremendous amount of headroom. The wide canopy creates nearly vertical sidewalls. This in turn translates to more usable space with the tarp and less chance of bruising up against the side walls. The center peak of the Haven is offset slightly toward the front of the tent. This raises the canopy off your face and sets the peak to the more natural position when sitting. The Haven Tarp can be setup using your hiking poles or our optional carbon fiber poles. Dual tabs on either side of the canopy allow the Haven Tarp to be hung from a line between two trees, eliminating the need for poles. The Haven Tarp is designed to be mated with the Haven NetTent. Together they form a luxurious sized double wall shelter at a mere 32 ounces. Most of the tarp / NetTent combos on the market today require the NetTent to be setup first, followed by the tarp. Typically the poles are inside of the NetTent, making them easy to bump into in the middle of the night. This kind of setup makes it impossible to keep your NetTent dry when setting up or taking down your shelter in the rain. The Haven Tarp / NetTent combo is designed so that the NetTent hangs from the tarp. This configuration allows the tarp to be setup first or taken down last under rainy conditions. Your NetTent will remain dry and safely secure in your pack. Please note that the Haven NetTent is not included with the Haven Tarp.
