Here is a really nice walrus tarp Aero 130. It is in excellent condition. This is a quality tarp. All the seams are sewn with extra support. Comes complete with original poles, ropes, storage bags and stakes. Also included are two more aluminum poles so you can raise all four corners. The original instructions are included, though a little rough but usable. I noticed that there was a campfire smoke odor when I assembled the tarp. It was not as noticeable when I folded it up. The Parawing is a tarp with a parabolic cut. It was designed and marketed by Bill Moss founder of Moss Tents in Camden, Maine. Technically it is described as a “hyperbolic paraboloid with compound curves”. The color is a yellowish tan. It is in good overall condition and has not been set up for extended periods of time. The color doesn’t appear significantly faded. There are some stains consistent with use and I have done some restoration in preparation for sale. Several pinhead sized campfire spark holes received a dab of Seam Grip and 4 larger about pea sized that I patched with nylon taffeta fabric and Seam Grip. Otherwise, the seams and guyline attachment points stitching is sound and I have cleaned the the tarp without any particular effort to remove dirt and tree stains. 1.9 ounce per sq yard ripstop nylon with polyurethane coating. Coating is about 99% intact and without odor. 2, 8 foot long, three section Reynolds 6061-T6 seamless aircraft aluminum poles without shock cord which allows a section to be removed and the fly pitched closer to the surface when needed. This is an older and limited run Mountain Hardwear Stingray 14′ shelter/tarp. This is quite similar to the Moss/MSR Parawings, but was made by Mountain Hardwear back before they became yet another outdoor corporate behemoth. This is a full and complete set up, including the original stakes, poles, sand bags/stakes (for use in sand or with rocks rather than stakes), and stuff sack. This has only been used a couple times, and was stored dry and unfolded, so there aren’t any creases that might have become thin spots, etc. I checked the tarp recently for issues with delamination, and there aren’t any, nor are there any smells, etc. This is in great shape, and would surely still work great for keeping the rain, sun and wind off. I couldn’t find any information on the internet for this bad boy other than the one photo that shows the 14′ Stingray set up. This would make a great shelter for river trips/rafting, backpacking, or general camping, and is fully adjustable with sturdy metal hardware, overkill stitching on the seams, etc. Message me with any questions — happy to answer them! Moss Tents Vistawing Tarp Tent. 12′ 5 length along center seam, 6′ Poles. Weight: just under 5 lb. Packed dimensions: 16″ x 5″ x 5. Comes as pictured, A COMPLETE SET UP, with tarp/canopy, two 6′ aluminum poles, original carry bag with attached instructions, 7 guy lines and cord tensioners (attached to tarp, all original), stake bag, 8 “Groundhog” stakes. Overall very good condition, however shock cord is somewhat loose on poles, the tarp itself has some discoloration–a scattering of light-ish spots here and there all over (see pics for details), and some light debris possible from our picture taking. Carry bag is in good condition, with some marks and spots. The fabric and canopy integrity itself is excellent, the waterproof coating on the underside is also excellent (see pics for details) Please view all zoomed in pictures for further details, and more pictures are available upon request. MSR Pavilion Canopy Tent In very good condition. There is wear on the pegs and some marks on the canopy. The poles are in really nice condition. The stuff sack has some wear and I noticed a pinhole in the bag. Beautiful when set up and works perfectly. Note the size: a three man tent sets up under the canopy with plenty of room left over for a table or chairs or sports equipment. Size 14 by 23, weighs about 19 pounds in the stuff sack.
